Registry ActiveX

Registry is a 32bit OLE Control Module for OLE container to operate the system registry. All win32-based applications store initialization information in the registry not in the .INI files. And registry contains all OLE, hardware, software information. Using Registry ActiveX, the OLE container can read, write, add, remove and enumerate the registry key and registry value.

Current Version of Registry ActiveX:
Current version of Registry ActiveX is 1.5. It's made in ATL and doesn't need any additional DLL to run.

How to Register:
You can register Registry ActiveX 1.x for US $30.00. After you register, you will receive a registration key that you can input by clicking the Register button in the About dialog. And you can distribute the ActiveX with your applications to your customers.

Notes for old MFC version users:
Because the CLSID has been changed in the new ATL version, if you are using the old MFC version of Reg.OCX and want to use the new version if your appliation,   please following these steps: (Nothing in properties, methods, etc has been changed in the new version. If you are a registered user and want the old version, please email me.)
Use "REGSVR32 Reg.OCX /u" to unregister the old Reg.OCX
Open your application project. You will get some warning or some error about missing OCX.
Copy the new Reg.OCX to replace the old one and register it using REGSVR32 or any way provided by your development tools.
In your development tool, choose the Registry Control.
Then you can put the Registry Control instance into your application to replace the old instance. Use the same name as the old instance then the other codes don't need to be changed.
For example, in VB, you have a old instance named Reg1. When you open the project, the VB will tell you a error and use a PictureBox as the Reg1. Just delete the Reg1, place a new instance onto the form and change its name to Reg1.
